Hey there - nice to meet you!I am Alyssa - the founder and face behind "i am STRONG like MOM" and I am SO GLAD you're here! I started this site after several years of blogging elsewhere (you may have seen me over at Home Field Fitness) because I wanted a place to promote positive mom image. Embracing the stages and seasons of our life, and finding ways to feel great and be active no matter if you're pregnant, have a house full of toddlers, or are crazy busy as a taxi-mom.
A little bit about me: I'm the mom of 3 kiddos (2 girls and a boy)! I'm married to a college football coach, so my kids are growing up on the football field too! Since having kids, I’ve turned sorta hippie mama on them and love all things essential oils, kombucha and high vibe. I eat lots of gluten free chocolate chip cookies and drink far too many iced almond milk mochas, but I also love taking shots of greens and eating produce out of our tiny backyard garden. I love to run and yoga and do ALLTHETHINGSOUTSIDE. My kiddos are *almost* always in tow for my workouts, so I'm a proud #strollerrunner and love watching my kids enjoy movement and fitness as much as I do!
