It’s National Running Day!
I have a confession – I MISS RUNNING. Deeply. I had thought that I would maintain my running throughout my pregnancy more than I have, and when I see all of the runners getting out on a Saturday morning along the river I have serious jealousy issues.
I have a confession – I MISS RUNNING. Deeply. I had thought that I would maintain my running throughout my pregnancy more than I have, and when I see all of the runners getting out on a Saturday morning along the river I have serious jealousy issues.
Needless to say, absence makes the heart grow fonder and I’m scheming and dreaming of my post-baby running plans. First up – Homecoming 5K at my alma mater in October – just for fun! I have a whole bucket list of races that I’m going to have to start checking off soon – hopefully I’ll have some great ones on the horizon soon!
We all run for different reasons – you can read about some of mine in a pre-preggo post here. Today, I'm celebrating by wearing my For Two Fitness "Running for Two" tank and getting some cardio in. The plan is a long walk with a few running intervals just for the fun of it!
