It's THANKSGIVING week! I LOVE this week, don't you? The smells of fall, the apple pie, the hustling in the kitchen and don't forget the football! Most of all - I love having family and friends around! Thanksgiving is always a bit unpredictable living in the football coaching world - but this year my coach is home and I've been so thankful for all the help he has been and how much fun we've had starting new holiday traditions with Little M.
I'm hosting my first ever Thanksgiving this week with around 12 people showing up to eat! Thankfully - guests are bringing lots of food too - but this will be my first go-round with a 20lb BIRD! I'll be honest. I've gifted this chore to my husband. My plan is to be drinking wine and picking at the gluten free stuffing the whole time! I might help with the basting...

A few things I'm thankful for this year....
- My sweet, fiesty and let's be honest, ADORABLE Little Makena!
- My perfect-for-me husband who I just grow to love more and more each day. It's also his big 30th birthday this week so I've been loving celebrating him even more this week!
- My strong legs to carry me on long runs!
- My loyal puppy who is always game for fun outside with me!
- Our family's health! We are so blessed to be strong, healthy and able to enjoy so many amazing life moments together!
- Coffee. Because I have a 1 year old. Enough said.
- Sunshine!
- Our new home that has quickly become my favorite place ever!
- Ridiculously awesome friends here in town and spread all across the country! Y'all make me smile every single day!
- YOU! I love the community that exists here in the blog and social media world! Thanks for reading this year!
This post is probably/maybe/most likely one of my lasts for 2015. I really want to take the next 6 weeks to soak up family time, focus on the little things and do some planning for some big things to come here on the Home Field in 2016!! One of the things I absolutely love about being a mom-preneur is that I can make decisions like this for me and my family! I'll still be super active over on Instagram, Facebook and in my Home Field Essentials group - so you'll be able to keep up with all of our fun holiday happenings there!
If I get the burning desire to post something here - I might see ya then, otherwise...see you in TWO THOUSAND SIXTEEN!!!!
