Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was awesome! I had a great one...I had a friend visiting for a few days and we had a great time catching up, playing with baby and relaxing. We also spent a day out at the Great Sand Dunes National Park hiking and exploring. I've been itching to get out hiking with baby M so it was fun to have someone to go with!
It was a beautiful sunny day with blue skies for MILES! I definitely got my workout with my built in weight vest and climbing those sandy dunes! Luckily Oakley helped tow me up the big ones!
I also go two good runs in which was an unusual occurance! Friday and Sunday morning I fed Makena and then slipped out while she was still cuddling in bed with Dad. I'm still slow-slow -low but I've been adding distance and not walking much anymore so I'm feeling good about that! I've got 3 weeks until running the CSU Homecoming 5k so hopefully I can keep getting some good runs under my belt! Fall is really in the air around here and my morning runs were actually pretty chilly! I love busting out my knee highs again!
I also made some yummy food this weekend...my favorite being these Gluten Free Banana Muffins. Plus chocolate chips of course!
